George Lilly – Lead Vocals & Drums
Driven by a love of music and a passion to fulfill his natural talents, George Lilly debuted his professional career as a drummer and a vocalist at age 15 performing at popular nightclubs throughout his native Boston.
By 1990, his talents brought him to south Florida where he was invited to perform with members of the Coral Reefers as well as the legendary Jimmy Buffet. In the years to follow, Lilly went on to appear with numerous artists, including Coco Montoya, Uptown Horns and blues legend Kal David who was a long time member of the John Mayall Group. Lilly also performed for several years with CBS recording artists Duke & the Drivers who frequently share billing with nationally renowned acts such as Tower of Power.
Today, Lilly divides his time between south Florida and the Boston area where he performs with the Mario Lacasse Band and MCA Records’ guitarist Dave Shelley. He is also a member of the Sultans of Swing organization as a performing artist for their various cultural, civic and philanthropic events.
Lilly remains a sought after musician and coveted performer whose star and sphere of influence grow brighter by the day. He continues to expand artistically and professionally despite having achieved such a high level of mastery—a distinction that has earned him the respect and admiration of his peers.
“I am blessed to be a thriving member of the rich and vibrant music scene in this country,” says Lilly. “I am thankful to be a part of this amazing tradition.”
